If there is one lesson I’ve learned since joining the ClickBank Profit Club, it’s this:
No traffic means no business.
You can have the best website, the perfect email sequence, and an amazing affiliate offer, but if nobody sees it, nothing happens.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to keep learning and testing different ways of driving visitors to my website and growing my email list.
As many of you know, my wife Leanne and I are currently managing two motels with a combined 84 rooms during the busy Snowy Mountains ski season. It is a demanding job that keeps us working long hours, seven days a week.
Because of that, building an online business has become more important to me than ever. My goal is to create an income that doesn’t rely on working around the clock.
Traffic is the fuel that makes that happen.
Why I’m Focusing on Both Free and Paid Traffic
Many beginners believe they must spend thousands of dollars on advertising before they can succeed online.
I don’t agree.
There are excellent free traffic methods that anyone can use if they’re prepared to invest a little time and stay consistent.
At the same time, I’ve also discovered that carefully selected paid traffic can dramatically speed up the process when used correctly.
For me, it’s about finding the right balance between the two.
The Free Traffic Methods I’m Using
1. Blogging
This has become one of my favourite traffic strategies.
Every week I write another blog sharing exactly what I’m learning as I build my ClickBank Profit Club business.
I’m not pretending to be some overnight millionaire.
Instead, I’m documenting my own journey, sharing what’s working, what I’ve learned, and the mistakes I’ve made along the way.
Google loves fresh, original content, and every blog I publish becomes another opportunity for people searching online to discover my website.
Over time those articles continue working for me 24 hours a day.
That’s something I really like.
2. Email Marketing
Every person who visits my website has the opportunity to join my email list.
Once they subscribe, they receive my welcome emails along with valuable information about building an online business.
Instead of hoping visitors remember me, I’m able to stay in contact and continue helping them.
Your email list truly becomes one of your most valuable business assets.
3. Free Advertising Platforms
I’ve also been using several free advertising websites including:
These platforms allow me to place advertisements in front of thousands of people who are already interested in home business opportunities and affiliate marketing.
While not everyone will join immediately, every click creates another opportunity to build my list.
The Paid Traffic Methods I’m Testing
Although free traffic is fantastic, it does take time.
That’s why I’ve also started testing carefully selected paid advertising.
Recently I purchased a solo ad campaign that generated 92 new ClickBank Profit Club sign-ups.
Now, I’m realistic enough to know that not every subscriber will become a customer.
But they have all entered my email follow-up sequence where I can continue building trust and providing value over the coming weeks.
That’s the real power of email marketing.
Sometimes the sale comes today.
Sometimes it comes weeks or even months later.
Why I Never Send Traffic Straight to an Affiliate Link
This is probably the biggest lesson I’ve learned.
Many affiliates simply grab their affiliate link and send people directly to the sales page.
If the visitor doesn’t buy immediately, they’re usually gone forever.
I prefer a different approach.
I first invite visitors to join my email list.
That allows me to continue helping them, answering questions, and introducing them to opportunities when they’re ready.
Instead of relying on one chance, I build a long-term relationship.
That single change has completely changed the way I approach affiliate marketing.
Consistency Beats Perfection
One thing I’ve realised is that successful online businesses aren’t built in a weekend.
They’re built through small daily actions repeated consistently.
Every blog I publish…
Every email I send…
Every advertisement I place…
Every visitor who joins my list…
They’re all small building blocks that gradually create a much larger business.
Progress might seem slow at first, but those little actions soon begin to compound.
Final Thoughts
If you’re serious about building an online business, don’t spend all your time searching for the “perfect” traffic source.
Choose a few good methods.
Learn them well.
Be consistent.
Measure your results.
Then improve as you go.
That’s exactly what I’m doing with the ClickBank Profit Club, and I’m enjoying every step of the journey.
